Louie's Drive Up Diner - New Glasgow

When we googled restaurants in New Glasgow, Louie's Drive up diner came up as a highly rated option. Being avid roadtrippers that love good local food, we seek out great food trucks. Louie's was a perfect choice. We enjoyed a great fish sandwich, and the sriracha chicken sandwich. These items were perfectly cooked, delicious, and just messy enough to be very 'foodtruck'. The service was great, the truck was very clean, plenty of picnic table seating that were all clean and well stocked with condiments. One tiny detail that we really appreciated, that is sadly overlooked at most foodtrucks, is hand sanitizer. When eating at a foodtruck, hand washing is often not an option, but louie's took care of that with Hand sanitizer at every table plus the truck. Worth the detour if you are not actually going to New Glasgow otherwise.

The hamburgers and fries from this food truck are awesome. The service is fast and they provide picnic tables to eat at. We took grandchildren with us and they enjoyed it as well.

Love visiting here when heading to the Greenhouse store. Cook is very friendly, and food is excellent. Great portions and plenty of benches to sit on.

Good food at very reasonable pricing for the quantity you get. I have tried the burgers, fries, onion rings and hotdogs and all were great. The fries are delicious and I had to try this spot when a co-worker arrived one day with a takeout from them and the smell of the meal made me rush there to have a meal. The owner Rob is very friendly and has obviously researched what makes good food and makes it all from local ingredients with his own recipes. Well worth a try but you should try to eat while onsite to get the full flavor.

Well I was pretty impressed with the fish and chips they offered here. I think I will go back and try the burgers and onion rings next. The fries were fresh cut and cooked just right. No complaints. Good friendly service.
