Had their special fish bits. Fried fish by nature is greasy however there should not be that much grease that it puddles on your plate or makes your French fries to soggy to eat. Went there especially for the fish as we were told it was better then Murphy's in Truro however that is not the case. The fish was tasty but more greasy then it had to be. My wife and I decided to try this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The food was well-prepared and the portions were larger than expected, with no complaints. We would definitely return here in the future.
I had the best fish and chips at Barb's! The service was top-notch and made me feel like family. If you're craving home-style comfort food at great prices, don't hesitate to visit Barb's - you won't leave hungry!
Murphy's may be good, but Barb's is even better when it comes to serving the best fish and chips in Canada!
Amazing restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. My husband absolutely loved the gingerbread cake!
