we were a very difficult party, probably these poor server nightmares, but they have handled it and cared for us with ease. xavier, kevin, dan and amanda were absolutely amazing and I appreciated their service so much. they were so friendly and understanding and one of my best experiences with an olive garden. love her: View all feedback.
What Clyde Reilly doesn't like about Olive Garden Nampa:
Be cautious when ordering gluten free at this restaurant. They mistakenly cooked gluten free pasta in the same water as regular pasta, leading to cross-contamination. We noticed a piece of regular pasta mixed in with the gluten free pasta before it was too late. It's important to double check to avoid any risks of getting sick, especially for those with gluten sensitivities. View all feedback.
We were lucky enough to have Charles as a server. He was amazing and his food choice recommendations were spot on, absolutely delicious. All 5 of us in our group were impressed with the food, the atmosphere and Charles, our server. Can't wait to go back!
My husband and I came for date night. I got on the waiting list on our way there and was excited when it said there was none. We walked in we're sat right down. Our waitress came over shortly after. We already knew what we wanted to eat along with our drink order we ordered our food. Our waitress brought out the salad. She put my plate on the table in front of me and there was food on it. She then proceeded to wipe it off with her hand while it was sitting in front of me. I asked if I could please get a new one and she apologized. My husband's plate also had food on it but he just wiped it with his napkin. My small bread plate had food on it as well. I ordered soup and salad. She originally brought us 3 bread sticks. When she went to bring my husband his dinner and my soup I asked if we could have more bread and water. She said of course. About 10 mins later she finally brought out the water and then asked if we needed anything else. I said yes, could we get more bread. She said yes. She brought us back 2 pieces of bread. With how long she'd be taking I asked if I could have another bowel of soup.she said yes and left. I processed to watch her come out to the table next to us 3 times with out bringong back soup. The last time she left we hadn't seen her for awhile. My husband who needed a to go box said just pay on the tablet and let's go. I'm tired of waiting. I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here to anyone unless you are play with having to repeatedly ask for what you need and then probably not getting it. I have plenty of patience for new waitresses. Because their new and need it. But this was ridiculous and a waste of money. I gave 2 stars because the food was good. Service sucked going off service alone it would have gotten 1.
I know Olive garden gets a lot of flak from certain people but I think they have good food not overpriced great wine selection! And you can't beat the soup and salad all-you-can-eat... And the smart diner will always take home a $6 meal to heat up for later... Bon appetit
My husband and I are retired and love to travel. We cover about 20,000 miles a year. Last night, we dined at Olive Garden in Nampa, Idaho. Our server was Mercedes. She was the friendliest, most cheerful, and attentive server we have had in a long time. I just want to thank her for taking care of two travel-fatigued people.
