"Frank welcomes every single patron like family and he immediately fusses around you to make sure you are comfortable and feeling relaxed. Below his unassuming persona is a consummate Hotelier attentive to every signal each patron sends. It is such a treat to visit Além Bica. Ps: The beer was bitter cold just the way I love it! Mom loved the fact that he hated up her glass so that her water was neither room temperature or ice cold but somewhere in between. It's the little things really that make big memories. "I travel to Barra every summer with my family. We make this a stop every trip. I will agree with many comments made here timing for turnaround can be disappointing; staff friendliness could be improved, etc. One thing is certain the pizza is very good. The original when you couldn’t find a pizza at all this was the place. Competition has increased with a couple of new establishments in Barra to likely give them a run. Hopefully they continue to make high quality pizza given such."
