"Good old-fashioned eating! not the fastest, but it is fresh and right made to order- well worth waiting! their homemade fries are divine, the burger is high quality with fresh vegetables, and the butterscotch shake I had was the perfect pairing! this is a great little stop- I highly recommend it! If I ever go through again, I will stop here again!"

"I had breakfast when I was close to mt. ida. last week for lunch. the breakfast was not bad. that could have been better for the cost. the chicken roast steak was mainly crust, the baked kartoffel was ok, but could have used some cheese and speck. the salate was nothing special, but it was a bit expensive. the menu price was different from the price I had calculated. the midday price was $8.99, but I was reliant on $11.99, so I'm staying at breakfast from now on."

"Who would have thought that this little town served some of the best Mexican dishes I've ever had! We stayed in Mount Ida for a day on the way to Kansas City of Houston and this restaurant was one of the few ways we had in the area. We really had no expectations of this place, but walking to the restaurant, we were very pleasantly surprised! The ambience and decor of this restaurant was just so friendly and pleasant to the eye! And our server was very friendly and accommodating. I got the Carne Asada and was overwhelmed by the part of the food for the price I paid for it. The food kept me for three meals! For Dessert we shared a record of Sopapillas, which really increases the whole experience because it was so good. Recommend this restaurant to everyone in the area."
