"Sweet little Italian restaurant with a large ambience and decor. The restaurant is exceptionally clean and it has only this great warmth. I felt almost like in Europe during the Christmas season, which is strange because the restaurant is in a regular place. The food was okay, but I wasn't impressed. We ordered salmon salad and roasted mozzarella, but no dishes were spectacular. The salmon tasted hard and almost dry and the mozzarella sticks were just not what we expected. They were also small and dry. Very friendly customer service but! I'd go back if the recipes were better."

"I came in today to have brunch. My friends got a ham and cheese bag that was great. The server never brought my quiche to the table. I had to ask for it? You forgot. A server came and asked if I wanted my toast that was never made available. The hot chocolate and toast were cold. I doubt I'll come back."

"Had a nice vegetarian lunch here recently and was pleased to see some vegan options on both the lunch and dinner menus. This is a small, cozy restaurant in downtown Morganton. Friendly service, good food. Had a fairly busy crowd for a weekday lunch. Good to know that there is an option in Morganton for a vegan meal."

"Disappointed after our first (and unfortunately last) visit. I have had it catered at work events and the food was good. But visiting in person was a different experience. The staff was condescending when we didn't know how their extremely disorganized menu worked and when we asked where to find a kids menu. Very unpleasant. And to top if off, a case of food poisoning was not how I wanted to spend my Saturday/Sunday. I enjoy supporting local businesses, but unfortunately I can not support this one after our experience."

"My first visit to Boulevard Barbeque (GPS tried to route me via a dead end street). The restaurant layout was somewhat unusual and at first I thought they hadn't opened for lunch yet? But, someone greeted us and we were seated promptly. We had a bit of a rough start with drinks and drink menu availability but it all worked out. The food portions were generous and delicious. If you like BBQ I think it is definitely worth a visit."
