I have three local chips and fish shops a stones throw from the house, but I'd make the trip to Hamblins each and every time now I've tried it. "Absolute perfection. Can only describe my food as EPIC! We needed to stop for lunch as passing through Forres. Saw it and thought we'd give it a go. Service was spot on. I asked for the steak sandwich and got like a 80oz steak on some beautiful bread with peppercorn sauce and mushrooms and everything. It was just beautiful. My husband had he Cullen skink- THE best bowl he's ever had (and being in the food industry himself he's very fussy when it comes to meals being well made! He said he didn't know what the green stuff was on top but even that was delicious. Our toddler had chicken goujons and they were proper homemade deliciousness. 5*s is not enough."
