"This restaurant is outstanding. All courses in the tasting menu were original without the gimmicks that characterise some experimental restaurants. Each course flowed from the previous serving and the balance between vegetable, seafood, fish and meat dishes was measured. The use of locally foraged plants added a special touch. We were privileged to have Beate serve us. She combined her expert nowledge of food, and particularly wines, with cheerful and charming demeanour. We have eaten in several two Michelin star restaurants. The Whitebrook would sit comfortably with them."
