My wife and I are regulars for dinner. We find their food delicious. The service is great most of the times. Prices are very reasonable. Our favourite set of items is the pani puri, daal tarka, chicken vindaloo and tomato soup. Many other delicacies are also available.Wish they had more space to make the seating a little more separated from the next tables. Their washroom needs to be upgraded asap. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Daal Roti:
Wash your money, try another restaurant. Bad quality and not worth it. 9 minutes agoNEW I went to this place for more than 3 years and whenever I wanted to eat Indian food outside, I would drive 30 km just to eat her food. But recently of 2-3 times their food quality has fallen so much that it is not worth having their food. They have drastically reduced their quality and increased their prices. I didn't think the pr... View all feedback.
We went for the lunch buffet, total for 2 people 31$ ! Amazing deal ! Food was great ! Really enjoy it. Place is small and selection is limited. Worth a try.
The test of food is awesome. They also have so many varieties in their menu. When I eat, I feel I am eating back home in Punjabi restaurant. Staff members are also friendly and giving good customer service. The prices are not so high they are affordable. Wonderful food and it is one of the must try restaurant. I just love the food they make.
Very nice Indian buffet. Good for all ages. Kids enjoy pasta and Indian street chaat whereas a very good serving for all.
This was my second visit at Daal Roti, first time dining in. I remember meeting the owner Payal who is very pro active and attentive to the demands of most customers. We ordered butter chicken, chicken lababdar, baingan(eggplant) patiala, chicken biryani and lachcha parathas. I remember relishing the Tadka Daal(tempered lentils) last time and that is also highly recommended. Food and service were both very good and reasonably priced. Please do not go there without a reservation as it's really busy. Thanks to Payal and her team for looking after us and giving us an amazing dining experience.
Weekend buffet at Daal Roti is always something my husband and I have enjoyed. Its regular buffet, but on the weekends, this restaurant has a chaat corner open and an addition of idli and sambhar to their regular menu. Butter chicken and butter paneer are great, so is yellow daal and creamed spinach, but the best dish at this restaurant is chicken tikka masala... we always go for seconds for this dish.My best advice if you are going for buffet lunch here, go earlier in the afternoon... 12-1:15pm is when the buffet is still very fresh. After that I find guests previous to us have depleted all the goat pieces and chicken pieces in the curries and we are left with just gravy. Semiya and Gulab jamun are my favourites here too.
