If you've been to Thai Express in a mall, this is just like the rest, except it's a stand alone restaurant. I love the Beef Pad Sew and I love how spicy the food is. Always a safe bet for good food. View all feedback.
What Natasha dislikes about Thai Express:
Got chicken pad thai. First turn off was the woman who was putting together the bowls for the cook, by getting a plastic bag of cooked chicken. Then the cook made the food so fast it was concerning. The chicken was so tough and rubbery it was disgusting, no tofu, or green onions, and the noodle was so dry. For $14 I’ll drive myself a few more Km to Thai house. ? View all feedback.
I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation. I ordered two servings of the general Thai chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was tough and my dad found bones in his portion. The dish was mostly rice with very little chicken or vegetables, which seemed to be frozen. I was looking forward to trying the spring rolls, but was disappointed to receive a cold one wrapped in plastic wrap.
I have a love for Thai cuisine, and yesterday I was in the mood for it. Having recently moved here a month ago, I decided to try out Thai Express for some take-out. I ordered a Mango salad, spring rolls, green curry chicken, and Pad Thai. Unfortunately, the salad was disappointing with just a few strips of mango, red pepper, and onion on a bed of lettuce. The spring rolls were decent, but the green curry chicken did not meet my expectations. The shrimp Pad Thai was alright, although it only had four shrimp in it. Overall, I was not impressed and will not be returning. I much prefer Green Mango on Bloor St in Etobicoke, but it's a bit far from where I am now.
My husband went to the restaurant today to buy a meal and a soup. They gave him one bag. The bottom of the soup container fell off in a perfect circle, causing all the soup to spill in the car and mix with the meal. It was disgusting. When my husband went back to ask for a replacement, they blamed him and refused to do so. We used to visit this restaurant at least once a week, but after this experience, we will not be returning.
Tried it for the first time and got the shrimp fried rice special. Not really good Thai food and expensive for rice and five shrimp.
