Osteria Del Teatro - Miami Beach

We had a fantastic dinner with impeccable service at this restaurant. The owner greeted us right away and came by our table to check on us, which was great customer service. The mussels in red sauce were incredible, and the pasta fagioli was delicious. My husband said the bolognese was the best he's ever had. I ordered the Chilean sea bass, which was a huge portion and incredibly delicious. The scalloped potatoes were also amazing.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was fantastic. I absolutely loved the food and would happily drive to Miami just to eat here again. The owner, Gilbert, was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Rafael, the manager, was also excellent. The staff were all attentive and willing to assist at all times. It's clear that this restaurant is managed efficiently.

Amazing little gem in south beach. Impeccable Italian cuisine served by a professional wait staff in a family business that treats you with old world hospitality. Situated in the old Island Records building on Collins Ave, in a gorgeous space with ceilings and huge bay windows, the space is charming and unpretentious, but still an architectural masterpiece in an icon of Miami Beach’s Art Deco era. The food is flawless. From homemade pastas to hand-selected meats and seafood, prepared by expert chefs with a mouth-watering presentation, you’ll think it can’t get any better until you eat it. The pasta, veal, and tiramisu are probably the best I’ve had outside Italy. And what a pleasure being served by a wait staff and management that actually appreciate you as a customer. I don’t get the masochistic desire to wait in line for hours at a place and get treated like garbage and served mediocre food just because some celeb was spotted there last week. Ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and add Osteria to your vacation agenda, where they’ll treat YOU like a celebrity. It’ll be one of the highlights of your south beach trip!

We chose this restaurant for our final night of vacation after reading the reviews. The experience was wonderful. The food was delicious and flavorful. The service was top-notch. The atmosphere was exactly what we were seeking. Beautiful comfortable decor in a quiet to moderate setting. We had a wonderful, memorable evening.

Food was very good. Service was excellent. Wine by the glass list was sub par, but most restaurants are. Strong B+.
