My family went here today to celebrate a birthday. Some are vegans and some vegetarians. We were absolutely delighted with the food. Freshly made, exquisite flavour and texture. Perfect service. The sauté vegan 'duck' was especially divine only slightly outdoing the mongolian'beef' ( also vegan)....More View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Huong Viet Vegetarian & Vegan:
the restaurant has not followed my order with special desire. I have specifically asked for pho, without mock meat, less nudge and more sweet. the order was full of noodles, 2 pieces mini brocolli, 2 pieces mini bork choy strain, 2 slices carrot, 1 mushroom cut in half and 1 piece non fresh flower cabbage mini-floor. just noodle! also some invisible parts of the Chinese cauliflower were not fresh! not come back! I have dined at Huong Viet twice in the past five days and have been thoroughly impressed by the food! It has quickly become my new favorite restaurant and I am excited to try more items from the menu. I particularly enjoyed the rice paper rolls, delicious spring rolls, and the amazing dipping sauce that tasted just like fish sauce without the fishy smell. I also tried the fried wonton special, snail soup, shark fin soup, rice noodle salad, and the tasty S&P tofu. The mackerel was an interesting choice, especially the crispy skin which I really enjoyed. My top picks were the duck, which was incredibly flavorful, and the sizzling beef with its amazing sauce. Giving up fish sauce was a challenge for me, but that tasty dipping sauce made it easier. I assure you I was not dining alone when trying all these dishes... LOL. The staff at Huong Viet were friendly, delightful, and happy to answer any questions I had. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience, and I will definitely be returning soon!
The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! The staff were extremely friendly and the service was quick. I highly recommend trying the vegan saute duck, it was amazing! I will definitely be returning for another visit.
I absolutely love the duck sauté, which is my favorite dish to pair with the Mongolian beef on jasmine rice. It's a winning combination every time, and I wish I could eat here more often.
I have learned about this place from a friend so we tried their food and we were so delighted. Very friendly service and excellent choices of vegetarian and vegan dishes. It is a restaurant you won't hesitate going back to.
I came here today for lunch very excited about Vietnamese food incorporating mock meats and it did not disappoint. The service was amazing, the staff were more than welcoming and gave my partner and I free tea on arrival, we then shared some rice, satay 'goat ' and sweet and sour 'pork chops ' and it was so amazing, the flavours were incredible, especially the sweet and sour sauce, I wanted to lick the bowl clean. As it 's only a short drive from me I 'll be coming back at least once a month, if not more. I love it, I can 't say anything bad of it. If I had anything I could recommend it would be to possibly close the door during the more colder days, I can completely understand why it would be open to draw customers in, but it was quite chilly in there today, luckily I had the tea to warm me up! Also, some background noise (tv/music) would make it just that little bit more relaxed and comfortable, just my thoughts anyway. Anyway, I 'll be back again next week to try more things and I can 't wait, thank you!
