What User dislikes about Ricky's:
stopped there on the way to Saskatchewan for a needed Break. the Place was full , so we waited....and waited.....and waited .We got seated after about a 20 minute wait, but not without listening to some words from irate customers about did-organization etc. The Place emptied , we were seated and again we waited and waited. Make a long story short, the whole Lunch Experience came down to 20 Minutes of eating and 45 Mi... View all feedback.

We have eaten three times here and the quality and service were perfect. burger, wrap and a club were the choices and they were delish! by the side mixed greens, tomatoes and cranberries and the club had generous layers of crisp and juicy truthahn. not much for the ambiente and the dining room needs a coat of color to illuminate a dab interior, but we are not too special when the meal rocks. well done rickys management and staff!

I only had the best breakfast in 25 to 30 years. the service was great, but the eating was exceptionally hot to the last piece, not heard in the restaurant business yes, I mean hot). I had the things French great. great taste in the sauce; the pfirsiche were still solid. I also had a page of speck. the speck was crispy, hot and tasteful and it still looks like speck. I would like to thank all ricky’s medicine workers at radcliff drive. by the way, I have never left a review for every breakfast place.

Grilling takes a bit time so the meat tastes good and tender. The place is comfortable with good airconditioning. Staff are friendly.

We tried this restaurant twice after it flipped from ABC Country Kitchen. It was a disaster both times. A year later, we tried it again (another disaster that resulted in us calling the city inspectors over bleach taste in the drinking water - several other customers had the same problem at the same time). A few months later (starving for breakfast) we went back and it was pretty good - but the kitchen was super slow. A couple more breakfasts were also pretty good. Then last week we went for brunch - waited 30+ minutes for our food which was sub-par. Yesterday we waited 10 minutes to be seated in an almost empty restaurant, waited 30 minutes for our food and were served brown rusted lettuce in the Ceasar salad and badly burned toast in the clubhouse. We are so done with this place. Two people stopped us as we were leaving and asked "How's the food?" We gave them directions to a good locally owned place down the road.

Stopped in with my wife for breakfast while visiting Medicine Hat during the Special Olympics. Our first impression from outside the building was "looks like a good spot for breakfast". Once inside however it looked small, dark and dreary. I don't know if the large windows are tinted way too dark but it was 33 Celsius and sunny outside but it almost appeared like evening or night inside. The dining area is surprisingly small compared to the size of the building with a combination of dated booths and tables for dining. It was fairly busy but we were seated quickly and our orders taken. We both ordered the (I think) the triple, 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. Our order took about 15 minutes. The first thing you notice is the lack of a kitchen door, the waitress and hostess are constantly going back and forth with their orders. You can probable see into the kitchen from anywhere in the dining room and from a quick glance it's not something that you want to linger on if you know what I mean. The food and coffee arrive, the coffee is strong but not fresh and quite bitter, the food is generous in portions but unappealing in looks. There's two sausages that look like two big toes, the over-easy eggs are fried to a dark greasy brown appearance and the bacon, well the two flat strips of bacon are just cooked to the point that accentuates the brownish veins of fat that run through them, no crispness or flavour. I won't go on about the pancakes, the're made from a box and topped with a big glob of butter or maybe not. Please let me forget the toast, you need toast for "runny" easy-over eggs, the waitress asks white or brown, we reply brown, we get this thin sliced multi or whole grain bread that wouldn't even absorb water if you spilled a glass on it.We ate our eggs due to hunger, tried a bite of everything else, paid our bill ($40.00) for breakfast and coffee and went to McDonalds.
