I lived in McAlester in 2007 and we went to this place once a week as there aren't too many other options in the town.
I really wish I would have taken the time to check Yelp, but after a long day on the road I just wanted some wine and non-chain food.

"The atmosphere is lively, but the seating still manages to feel a little private.I tried a salad/deconstructed- like guacamole, and enjoyed that very much with a little hot sauce and their salsa to accompany it. Speaking of *amazing salsa!!! Yes, I think at least that salsa might be authentic .Yep. Got chicken tacos, I think the chicken might actually be authentic and fresh... maybe not one of those pre packaged places. Very good flavor. It's a surprise to find that nowadays.All in all, fairly quick service, almost everyone is wearing a smile.Family friendly also.Down side? Although the food is better than most of your local Mexican places, they should make themselves stand out by plating and presenting their food differently.It would leave something to remember for everyone.(And a little paint touches for aesthetics).Best success Jalisco!!!"
