Contribute Feedback Was Lulu at Sushi Train - Maroubra a mag?
Great food, my favourite for sushi in the area, shame about the waiting time for seating and seating which I found not so spacious otherwise we would come more often View all feedback.
What tuldge dislikes about Sushi Train - Maroubra:
We are usually so chuffed with our meal here but this visit created a massive distaste!!!! We were charged 4.20 AUD each for a single cup of teas so for a Fam of 4 that is well over the mark. Yes that is a cup not a pot so so disappointed how people can charge like this!!!!!!! Not sure we will be back??? View all feedback.
I have always enjoyed sushi train; it’s quick and easy, and I find the rotating sushi conveyor belt to be quite entertaining. There are quite a few Sushi Train franchises in Sydney, but today I will be in Maroubra, where I hear the restaurant is headed by a very talented sushi chef with decades of experience handling sashimi and yakitori.
My son, his girlfriend and I popped in here for a meal, even though we weren't particularly hungry after too many dips into the antipasti at home beforehand. It was a relatively busy night always a good sign, but we didn't have to wait long for a table to be available. There was a wide range to choose from, with plenty of crumbed and fried dishes, nigiri sushi, tofu pockets, eel, right through to desserts. The ambience is nothing special, and the service is fine. Cost for 3 of us $55
Good thing about sushi train is pretty much same quality everywhere else. Cant beat the price in darlinghurst but all and all good food.
Finally tried Sushi Train and now it’s got me hooked
Sushi Train in Maroubra was a fun experience! The food was fresh and tasty. Their staff is keen to help and they have some good deals. Their membership program was great and there are plenty of sushi options. If you’re looking for a fun, tasty and quick feed, Sushi Train is the way to go!
