Osaka Sushi - Markham

This is my favourite place for fresh tasty sashimi! The bento box is full of flavour of not only the generous thick cut of fresh-melt-in-your-mouth sashimi but also tasty sushi and salad. Unlike a new Japanese restaurant I reviewed recently this one I highly recommend. Never failed my expectations and I like to see the sushi chefs are actually Japanese.

Food was really good. Love that they have an extensive Korean menu along with Japanese and it was good on both ends. Service was great. We were in a rush and they made sure we got out with extra time. We had sashimi, galbi, red dragon roll and hot sake and it was all very good.

We have eaten here a few times and know to make a reservation as Osaka is often busy. They have fresh sashimi and also make some delicious Korean dishes. Hai Dop Bop is one of my favorites. Last night we tried some spicy seafood udon noodle soup and a sampling if sashimi and hand rolls. The soup was very spicy but good.

I will go out of my way to dine at Osaka on the future. Their menu offers a variety of delicious options that are well priced and generously portioned. There is a reason why the line up trails out the door some days! I opted for the Toronto Roll and Gold 88 Roll and I was not disappointed! The service is perfection and interior is lovely as well. I look forward to my next visit!

It was busy but we sat in the rooms (they are small) but comfortable for 3-4 people had the Spicy Crab Rolls and the Bento Salmon box it was yummy.
