Pyrgos Taverna 225 LougheedWent there tonight with the Missus to check out all the hype and was not disappointed. We started with the kalamari appetizer, it was good, lots of tender squid bits nicely done, quite a bit for an appy, good thing we shared. I had the chicken souvlaki and she had the lamb for our main courses, plenty of yummy goodness all around, tender meat, perfect potatoes and rice, nice warm pita bread. Nothing to complain about here. We've found our new go to Greek joint for sure, nice authentic Taverna style and good service, fair value too. Next time you want a comfortable sit down Greek dining experience keep Pyrgos in mind. 4.5 stars for authentic Greek dining.

Awesome place for lunch, M-F I recommend the appetizer platter for 2, as you get a little of everything incl souvlaki and greek salad for $30. It's worth having s Greek coffee too if you've never tried it. This is authentic Greek, not some fusion thing or fast food nonsense.

I have tried many Greek restaurants over the years and none are as good as this one. Everything is fresh and tastes great! The staff is diligent and friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy quality and authentic Greek cusine. It really is the best place in town.

Great food and service. Seating is very spacious. Restaurant is clean. Price is a little high bit if you enjoy quality Greek you will not be let down.

Tried it the first time the other night picked up the dinner for 2 and it was so much delicious food!! So far the best Greek I have eaten in maple ridge! Will be going back
