We love this restaurant. The food is always delicious and plentiful and the service is excellent. Everything is always served promptly and nice and hot. The prices are very reasonable and being a BYO restaurant is a definite advantage as far as cost goes, The...owners and their staff are always friendly and helpful and the restaurant is clean and well presented. This is our favourite place to eat in Mandurah. View all feedback.
What Sigrid Daniel dislikes about Penang House:
Shockingly bad Szechuan Beef for the lunch special. The beef was dry and chewy almost to the point of being jerky. Minimal sauce that was mostly MSG. Very disappointing after reading the good reviews on here. View all feedback.

This restaurant never fails to offer a delicious meal. quiet and good service with great food. can't ask for more.
We thought it was a Malaysian restaurant, but it's Malaysian and Chinese. the menu is more similar to a Chinese restaurant. they offered some set menu (sortment of bankett) and only two persons minimum (most other Chinese restaurant need at least four people). so we decided to go with the set. the part for each teller is right, but it could be more. overall, the dishes are more saltier than expected. the only highlights were the Satay sauce with the huh for the entree and the sweet and sour pork that cooked it directly, I think. While eating this time was not really impressed, their service was very nice. the setting, table, chair and floor...read more
