Visited while on holiday in region. Warm welcome and excellent service from a team of waitresses. Every waitress was very attentive and the food was amazing. We had authentic French dishes which were all excellent. Thanks to all the staff for a very nice meal Ina friendly and relaxing ambience. View all feedback.
What Jobo dislikes about Cafe Rouge Maidstone:
We booked a table for 6-30pm on Saturday evening and we were late by about ten minutes for which we apologised. We did not like the table they showed us to and asked to be seated somewhere else, which they did. My husband and I both ordered the lamb shank off the specials menu. There was not much meat on the shank and it was a bit tough. The mash was nice and the red cabbage which was served with it was also nice but... View all feedback.
I'm thrilled that we came across The Living Café recently. The two hosts were very welcoming. The menu had a great variety and accommodated all dietary restrictions, which was fantastic. The food was tasty and expertly prepared. Can't wait to visit again soon. Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience.
The breakfast was enjoyable, the staff were friendly, and the service was fast.
This is honestly my favourite restaurant as it caters so well for gluten free. I have tried almost everything on the menu at this point and have been so pleasantly surprised with how well they are able to substitute the normal ingredients for the gluten free alternatives (for example would definitely recommend the gluten free halloumi with breadcrumbs . This and toppled by the fact that the staff are so lovely and attentive. Great restaurant couldn’t recommend enough. :
We had an incredible Mothers Day experience at this restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to take care of my elderly mother with their attentive service. Additionally, my wife appreciated how well our kids were taken care of so we could all relax and enjoy our meal.
Just popped in after reading good reviews. Friendly atmosphere with good English breakfast. Not my usual greasy spoon this is small twee English tea room and cafe. Very nice, recommend.
