Nice pub in the middle of nowhere. Food very good if a little pricey. £200 ish for 3 course dinner for 2 with wine and dessert wine. Service a little disjointed and sometimes you feel a little rushed. Need a nice relaxing service that flows. Lovely old room a little dark in places. £25 approx for a taxi from Windsor. read more.

"I asked the woman at the till if the restaurant was halal. She kindly answered a yes. I trusted her so I ate the chicken options which she confirmed were halal. What really worried me was the fact that I didn't see any halal certification or ask if there was any alchohol in some of their food. It was a delicious experience however and the food was well made and fresh. It was great and all, I'm just not sure if I was allowed to actually eat the food I never took a picture sorry"
