Contribute Feedback Was User at Lyndoch Bakery and Restaurant a mag?
Dropped into the Lyndoch Bakery on the recommendation of a relative from Adelaide. She thought the Kitchener Bun there was brilliant so decided I'd check it out. Grabbed one and a Farmers Union iced coffee (got my sugar rush) and sat down to eat outside. It was a very pleasant experience and the bun was tasty (though wish it had real cream instead of patissiere's cream as filling). If I was less hurried in my travels... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Lyndoch Bakery and Restaurant:
Had not been to LYNDOCH Bakery for a few years and decided to take my wife for Mothers Day breakfast never again.I had the big breakfast and my wife had eggs bendict. The big breakfast> The eggs were full of black bits like they had been cooked on a barbecue that had never been cleaned, the bacon had been cremated and the home made baked beans were awful, the sausage and potato rosti were average. The toast and butter... If I was less hurried in my travels I would've liked to have had a proper German style feed, as it looks as if they have the offerings to supply that side of things. Service was friendly and efficient, price was okay..perhaps only prob was not asking if eating in and offering plate and cutlery.Would go back, but in more relaxed circumstances
Went in for coffee , which was very good..happen to have two live singers ..outstanding ..was a surprise..will go back again..
Popped in for a coffee and cake, really wanted a beesting cake however there wasn't much left, that tells me something there **** good if all the cakes are almost gone by 3pm. Had a really nice coffee and we tried a few different cakes, the vanilla slice was nice, different with the pink icing. I had a custard berlina nice and very big. My mum had a apple cake it was delicious:) They also sell alcohol as well so that's different, it really is like you have stepped back in time. It's really homely Definitely will be back if we are in the area.
Wow..Beautiful pies of all types and combinations on the board inside the shop. I had a beef pie with potato and the wife had some spicy curry job. After much perusal of the cakes window we walked out with our bounty of pies and cakes. We ate lunch in the park over the road. Drive home with a warm pie in ya tummy, a cream mustache and a big smile on ya dial and that was just the wife..you shoulda seen me. Beautiful food fare at the Lyndoch Bakery. You must call in to the Bakery if visiting Lyndoch and you will not be sorry. The wife chose the food and I got to pay. Next visit I will reverse that trend. There's also no flies on me!
