"Seriously?! Get's 4.6 because of Friends family and staff.. (never trust under 700 reviews In a real world place is 3.8 and being very kind, Lunenburg has got to have better places other than the Knot pub the place which only locals recommend! "Excellent meal at the beach pea! started with tuna tartare that was fresh and flavorful. continued with the housemade squid ink pasta with fresh seafood. scallops and shrimp were perfectly cooked, pasta was light and the red sauce was well balanced. merguez sausage is delicious but this pasta would have been just as good with just the seafood."

"The cafe was closing as we came by at 3:35 (they close at 3:30) but the staff member welcomed us and was delightful. Coming from Ottawa I found this to be amazing service. The boss was away and the 2 staff members kept the lights on and the place running excellently. Bravo you two. Well done!!!"

"Definitely not our best choice for lunch. The only thing that was decent was the waitress. Fish and chips were far over boiled, hard crispy and very inconspicuous, their fry chip things were hard like rocks and my husband 's burger was crushed in Mayo (er hass mayo) that 't once on the list of ingredients for this burger, or he would not have requested. We will be sure to choose another place at the next visit to Lunenburg"

"I 'm all for Rebecca 's and wish them great success. The owners have done an exemplary job of trading up the boring interior of their new location for a colorful, interesting vibe. Great job on the renovations! The service at Rebecca 's is prompt and responsive. The food needs some attention. The salad was beautifully presented but the dressing needed a little livening up. The sandwich I had was slippery and I didn 't care for it at all. I will return to this place knowing that it will get much better as it goes along. It 's a welcome larger restaurant for Mahone Bay and the repairs they are making to the building will make it as attractive on the outside as it is on the inside. I went to Rebecca 's at their NEW location a second time this summer. The decor at this location is finally living up to its potential and the inside of the restaurant is super pleasant. There is also a stone patio with a wonderful view of Mahone Bay. Still, based upon the comments of my fellow company of six, I think Rebecca needs to totally rethink the menu over the winter and opt for very high quality pub food reminiscent of the Knot Pub in Lunenburg. God knows the local pub is awful, Rebecca 's sole Mahone Bay fine dining wannabe rival is mediocre at best, and the field is open for a really good BASIC food offering in Mahone Bay. Rebecca 's now has a wonderful space and she can make it happen if she chooses."
