The Reggae Pot offers delicious vegan and Jamaican cuisine in a clean and friendly environment. Dishes such as the Ache and Curry Garbanzo do not disappoint, and the Oxtail Plate receives rave reviews for its tender meat and flavorful seasoning. The eatery provides efficient service, with options for takeout, delivery, and dining in. The menu features many vegan and gluten-free options, all often made with organic ingredients. Despite some service hiccups experienced by a diner, the overall consensus is that The Reggae Pot is a top-notch spot for authentic Jamaican fare.

Delicious vegan options, we got the Jerk Tofu Plate, a side of cornbread, and a side of Callaloo. Everything was seasoned really well, cooked perfectly, staff is friendly, and the food came out quickly. The hot mango sauce it came with was really good too, very spicy and very flavorful! The restaurant is very clean too, much cleaner than 99% of restaurants I've been to. Definitely would go back and would recommend to others.

I've been here several times and I get the Oxtail Plate every time. It comes with rice, cabbage, super delicious plantains, jerk chicken (yum), and heavenly oxtail stew. The stew is very clearly work and time intensive to make: the meat simply melts in your mouth. The seasoning compliments but does not overwhelm. Note: If you haven't had oxtail stew, it is supposed to be bony. The meat just falls off the bone! After the first time I had it, I was fairly sure they couldn't duplicate that oxtail. But it has been perfectly consistent each time I've gone. I would go way more often but it's not cheap for the plate. I don't mind paying the price, it's worth it. I just can't afford to go too often. I challenge you to give this place a try! Every dish is surprisingly delicious.

The food here is amazing! Chickens were tender and the seasoning had a spicy kick to it, but the veggies balanced out the spiciness. Rice was delish, too. Highly recommended

I had a hankering for Jamaican food and wanted to try something authentic. This place intrigued me because it had oxtail, goat curry and ackee. I got there on the late side it closes at 6:00 pm, so not much was still available. Ackee and saltfish, oxtail, and chicken were all that was left. I'm not a big beef person, so I went with one order of ackee and an order of jerk chicken, hoping there would be enough for my boyfriend and me to share entrees. Boy, was I right! The plates came with peas and rice, vegetables, and fried plantains and the portions filled the entire box.

SCAMMERS! I was born and raised in Jamaica but now live in Norcal and I was looking for some good authentic Jamaican food. My family from Jamaica was in town so I decided to call and ask how much it would be to cater for 8 people. The woman, the owner, guaranteed me that for $240 she would be able to cater and I would even have some left overs. I pay the FULL price and go to get my food without checking to my mistake. When I get home to serve everything I come to find that the only thing thag could feed 8 people was the bland pan of rice and peas I was given. The curry goat was not cut whatsoever and it did not have any flavor let alone curry. It was also only about three pieces. The oxtail was the exact same as it was bland and there was literally THREE pieces. When i called to complain about not getting the $240 worth of food i paid for in full, she said I could come back and she would give me more food. Keep in mind it was a 45 minute drive for me to even get it so I declined. She then told me she would “refund some of my money” but its been weeks and I have yet to see it. Save yourself the heartache and money. These are clearly the jinal jamaicans.
