Our friend, who has recently become 50, played this night in the band and invited us for drinks and live music. The performance (5live shares) was great and we had no problem booking on the same day table for a delicious dinner with a vegetarian and a chicken main course (Okra was the star of the dishes and cooked superb) followed by truly mysterious desert. What Simon Segers doesn't like about Urban Diner:
Starters were ok but both heavily deep fried. Main I had salmon with guacamole. The guacamole was from a bottle so not impressed. Partner had the burger. Both mains were too big and we felt quite sickly afterwards. Choice of cocktails was limited on the deal. We love amaretto sours but their coffee version didn't work for our taste.
