Nestled at the start of Brick Lane, this restaurant presents a varied dining experience. While some patrons rave about the flavorful masala dosa and prompt service, others express disappointment with bland dishes and high prices, particularly criticizing the butter chicken. The ambiance, characterized by good lighting and an inviting atmosphere, offers a pleasant backdrop for meals. However, inconsistent food quality and service have led many to question the value for money. For a lively spot with potential, frequent diners suggest sticking to specific dishes while managing expectations for others.

Was Carlos Maia at Indigo a mag?
I actually walked out of the restaurant (located next door to the cinema) and immediately walked back in again! The enticing smells and the impressive signage outside caught my attention. View all feedback.

What Francesca Robertson dislikes about Indigo:

I was pretty hungry, so had a vegetarian starter and lamb seekh kebab, both were very tasty. I'll definitely visit again but only for main, only reason I didn't award 5 5 was that the starter was the same price as the main meal, and I think £7 is too much for a vegetarian appetiser.

My London visit started with this place as I came from my apartment I saw this place in the land and I just went in the place was empty as it was quite late on Sunday night. I ordered a few beers, huh and simple naan eating was fresh, beautifully prepared, plentiful amount and very tasty. the personal was very welcoming place also has a lot of space and has thema of bollywood over. after that I went back there and would definitely go back to my next trip.

The Rich Mix cafe isn't the main attraction here but it does a good job. It offers cakes, sandwiches, snacks and cups of tea and coffee however, you don't go to the Rich Mix for the culinary experience. For those of you who don't know, the Rich Mix is a cultural center at the top of Brick Lane on Bethnal Green Road. It puts on loads of different events (music, theater, ping pong evenings, comedy nights, etc), has a cinema that shows a few mainstream movies, a lot of very interesting documentaries that aren't necessarily in the limelight, and has a small exhibition room. It's very cheap to go, most events are under 10 pounds and drinks at the bar are cheap. Correction, they're seriously...read more

Our first ones were a bit pale and anaemic, but our second ones seemed to have about 50% more mango which was better Starters came from the street food section. I went for pav bhaji which is a spicy vegetable curry served with toasted bread. I found the curry to be a bit too tomato-ey which made it a bit one dimensional. I would have liked it if they had...read more
