Was Maggie at Buenos Aires Cafe - Greenwich a mag?
We had a very nice meal at what has now been renamed the Greenwich Galley. They are only open from 7pm. All the staff were very friendly but seemed slightly unprofessional, as if they were just learning the job. Our red wine was delivered tepid and, while apologetic, their only suggestion was either they would run it under a cold tap or leave it next to our cold water jug. What abcd dislikes about Buenos Aires Cafe - Greenwich:
We went for dinner on Sunday evening and hoping for a romantic meal. Not exactly what we got. Sunday evening is buffet and it really felt like a hotel restaurant. All in all, food and ambience were not bad, but that was not what I wanted for the evening. View all feedback.

This restaurant is in the De Vere Hotel/Conference Centre and is primarily providing meals for conference delegates. We went for lunch and it provided a 3 course self service buffet at about £14.95 per head. It was not what we expected from the details given on the Toptable link. The advantage for us was that it was a quiet venue.

We ate here the other weekend (7people) and the food was excellent. The service was quick and attentive too. The only issue was that even though it was a saturday night the restaurant was completely empty. It was a bit eery as they didnt have any music on or anything either. Its more of a hotel restaurant type of vibe but very nice nevertheless

Our red wine was delivered tepid and, while apologetic, their only suggestion was either they would run it under a cold tap or leave it next to our cold water jug. Having said that, the food was very good, especially since we took advantage of their (unadvertised) special meal offer. All in all very nice evening, but could all be tightened up a bit.
