For a local restaurant this is most certainly one of the best ones around.

It was lovely the food was well presented and the steak was cooked just as we requested only thing I would say is we tried to look at the children’s menu but could not see on the website which would have been helpful as it put us off taking the grandchildren however we will be back with them in the near future

The service was very good, the food was served very quickly,too quickly within minutes of finishing starters the mains arrived making you feel it must have been pre cooked.The fillet steak was tasteless, the spinach was horrible, the mash was okay. Duck Salad and Goat Cheese starters were great. Unfortunately not a great visit this time previously the food has been good just not this visit. Not many dinners in the restaurant. Fingers crossed for the next visit.

Terrible Experience Unkind Staff and Poor Service I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this bar and restaurant was so frustrating that I feel compelled to share. From the moment we walked in, the staff were unwelcoming and seemed irritated by our presence. It felt like we were an inconvenience to them rather than valued customers. Our server was rude and dismissive, barely paying attention to our requests and acting like we were wasting their time. When we asked simple questions about the menu, they responded with a condescending attitude, as if we were bothering them. The entire atmosphere was uncomfortable, with no warmth or friendliness from any of the staff. To make matters worse, the food took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it was mediocre at best. Combine that with the rude service, and it was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I definitely won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant night out. There are plenty of other places where the staff actually care about their customers. Avoid this place if you want to enjoy your evening!
