trip to Portugal and we were looking for a new (very good) restaurant) close to the Melia Oriente hotel. Front desk recommend the Alegria. Ambience was great (old rock and roll) and the Service very good. Ordered the pork ribs and both of us agreed they were excellent. Good selection of sides and wines. We tried this place based on all the positive reviews. While the food was good, the menu was very limited. Only one starter not on the menu (which we passed on) and 3 seafood options and 3 meat options. Octopus rice and mix meat plate were very good.
