Duke's Kauai - Lihue

Good was pretty good, I had the spicy hamburger. Food came out pretty quickly and the bartender was was quick on getting me refills for my drinks. Has a very nice view of the water and the prices weren’t to bad depending on what you ordered. I would definitely eat here again when I am in town.

Went here April 2022 for dinner with 4 others. Food came out fast but wasn't tasty. Some things didn't taste fresh. I had a poke bowl and the raw fish was ok but nothing special . My cousin had BBQ chicken that was dry and our EXPENSIVE drinks were so watered-down that even the lightest of drinkers such as myself would complain. I love the atmosphere and that the location is right on the beach but we didn't like anything here. Wouldn't go back

While the ambiance is perfect and the servers very friendly we found the appetizers and the cocktails just okay. Duke's was highly recommended but out of the three dishes ordered we only enjoyed the calamari. The crab wontons and chicken wings (which arrived cold) were not tasty at all.

My wife and I were in front of the marriott vacation club and had a great dinner here. even if we were unable to make a reservation online as the calendar was booked, we came to the opening and sat in about 15 minutes. the drinks were amazing, the salatbar had a great selection (only point on what they want and a server teller for them)! but the main courses were award-winning and you have to get the hula pie!

All about this experience is quintessential hawaii. beautiful restaurant with beautiful decor. the view to the beach is stunning. great escape, drinks and dessert. a perfect service. type: they can add the salatable for $25 or to a meal for $7. we have chosen the second option that I recommend. I don't think it's worth $25. this culinary experience is for my favorite restaurant experience in hawaii (with kimo’s in maui.)
