"We stopped in for a late supper we were a party of 4. The food was excellent! Everything had that homemade taste and was delicious! Some of the menu items we had were: clubhouse, pasta Alfredo, Lobster Roll, and pan fried haddock. All very memorable. Being from Ontario I was also impressed the pricing was very fair compared to what I’ve seen. I recommend this restaurant highly!"

"The Staff is very accommodating and social, they are always checkin up on us to make sure our expierence was good. Having gone a few times i have noticed that occasionally the chef tries to do off menu specials and something you would not normally find in a pub atmosphere. Never been disappointed will keep going back."

"Shirley's is a hidden gem in Tignish. We stumbled upon it while touring PEI. I would recommend it. The food was delicious, home cooking. The menu was extensive. The service was great. Definitely worth the stop."

"Hello recently ate at the sidewalk grill as soon as we walked in there was 4 staff members eating there lunch at a table and there was not one clean table in the front so we had to push ourselves to the back of the restaurant. Once we got in the back there were tables covered in food and plates there was no air conditioning and it was 25 degrees outside. Our table was missing forks and our knives were facing the wrong side. We had 3 different servers come over to us to take our order they didn't even offer to get us forks and questioned if we wanted refills on our empty water glasses, like obviously we want more water!!! Our nachos were sad and the only toppings on them was dry chicken and chunks of tomatoes, not once did anyone ask us how our appetizer or mains were my burger did not have lettuce or tomato on it when is specifically told one of the three servers we had I wanted the works on my burger. After we finished our food in the muggy dirty atmosphere we were surrounded in, another server came over to ask us if it was all one bill after trying to give us our bill after we finished our appetizer. Not once were we offered dessert or asked if we would like anything else and I was really looking forward to a homemade dessert but had to go to huntleys instead which we should of from the first!! Once paying at the cash register the cash register was covered in grease and filth and it took 2 servers to read the cash because it was that dirty. Would definatly not reccomend nor come back maybe the staff should be less concerned about stuffing their own faces and more concerned about a clean atmosphere and checking on there paying customers!!!!"

"When I arrived, I was told that my reservation was not found, although I would get a confirmation. we sat on a large round table that ruined the ambiente for our Valentine's Day meal. the eating was good, my salat came without dressing and the server were busy so it took a while to dress. Overall, I was also satisfied with the experience with the few inconveniences."

"No fresh cut fries dissapointing and being right there on the water i assumed fresh fish.... so no go for fish and chips. tartar sauce cheap mayo and relish. but the poutine with the works was well liked by the others who had it. the dinners come with water logged over cooked carrots and peas .... just dont do it."
