While some diners praise the exceptional service and delicious food, including standout dishes like the French onion soup and the elk special with wine/blueberry reduction, others are less impressed, with criticisms of underwhelming steak quality and slow service. The ambiance is a point of contention for some, with concerns about the lack of background music and the smell of smoke from the casino. However, positive comments about the classic Las Vegas culture, talented musicians, and friendly staff provide a glimmer of hope for those considering a visit. Overall, Salvatore's seems to have its highs and lows, making it a potential hit or miss dining option for patrons.
I have to say that this casino impressed usIt is out of the way [on the North-West side of Las Vegas].

I've been frequenting this casino since it was the only casino in Summerlin.
My daughter and I had heard that this restaurant had great food and a wonderful view of Vancouver, and it was definitely true on both counts. The wedge salad was a wonderful mix of sweet and salty, the prawn cocktail was perfectly cooked with a spicy dip sauce and the bread served was warm and tasty. The service of everyone working there was professional and courteous. The view of the city was beautiful. I will make this restaurant a "must see" on my next visit.
The food was great but disappointed we didn't sit outside as we made the reservation days in advance and called in the morning to request it.
