We had such a great dining experience! To start out, our waitress Breanna was so cheerful and friendly. Her fun and energetic attitude was contagious! She made us feel very welcome and anticipated everything we needed. I honestly wish every waiter and waitress had her positive energy. I feel like she deserves some serious recognition. I think they were seriously understaffed but our server only checked on us once and by the time the check was due we waited nearly 20 minutes

Tonight was a disaster. Ironically our reservation, made with this site, was not working at the restaurant because their reservation system wasn’t working. So you had a lobby full of people, with reservations, wondering what happened. To the managers credit we were seated quickly nonetheless. We ordered 3 entrees of sirloin steak and one chicken sandwich. The sandwich was brought out as an appetizer for some reason while we waited about her 20 minutes or so for the rest of the entrees. They arrived but two steaks were well done and one was undercooked (beyond rare) though we all specified “medium”. Plus it was lukewarm and the plate was room temperature. Only one entree received the broccoli (they ran out apparently) and those weren’t even cooked just raw and warmed up. The rest of our party never received all of their sides. We sympathized with the server who apologized profusely but the damage was done. This is no longer the Friday’s we grew up with the past 20 years this was a complete fail.

I made this reservation August 13 for a party of ten after the Purdue Christmas Show on Sunday, December 8. I got an email on Saturday December 7 from Open Table asking if I was still coming, to which I responded yes. When we arrived at TGI Friday 's, they had no knowledge of our reservation and said Open Table doesn 't work, whatever that means. Luckily they were not busy and could seat us quickly. We sat for quite a while before a waiter finally came to take our drink orders. At this point we were ready to order both drinks and food and went ahead and did so. The waiter seemed disorganized and slow, even though the restaurant was not busy. When we finally did get our food, it was not quite served all at the same time but not too spaced out. Once again, just kind of disorganized. The food was good so no complaints there. Just found it strange that I made this reservation well in advance and they knew nothing about it.

Service was awful from the beginning. Restaurant was not busy at all. We were greeted and asked how many people...5. They continued their conversation that we so rudely interrupted while grabbing menus and forks and then walked us to our table after ~2 minutes of them chatting in front of us. We sat down without drinks or being welcomed by our waiter for another ~10 minutes. Throughout dinner we were only visited 2 times by our waiter (once to bring drinks, and once to bring food). Lighting was awful, service was horrible, and the mood in the restaurant seemed a bit tense. Not a pleasant dining experience.

I just found it strange that I made this reservation in advance and they didn't know about it.
