Contribute FeedbackFor me it is a good sign if there are mainly local and few tourist. the lunch is open with sandwiches and other little things like the trio of hering. I had a delicious smoked eel with a touch, while my spouse had the hering trio. that. bier was an excellent guide. I found that they had a very well equipped fleet supply with many sorts of snaps. this is a historical restaurant from the days when women from the market stalls visited it. you will find it comfortable, welcoming and a quiet example of the old kopenhagen charm. you want to note the intention at the bottom of the menu that menu items should not be shared, as only one element is ordered for two people. for kanadier the prices may initially appear high, but this is kopenhagen and the prices correspond to the quality medium-class restaurants.
Have used this restaurant for several years at visit in kopenhagen. his charm is that it is the charm of the old copenhagen with friendly and helpful staff. the open sandwiches and the selection of the beer are excellent and the prices in harmony with others in. kopenhagen my friend and I had eaten here twice for our latest visit to lunch. all the sandwiches we had were excellent. friendly and helpful staff has completed very pleasant lunch.
We had a great lunch here. we ate various traditional Danish little dishes. with good beer and snapshots. some Danish restaurants make their own snapshots, but unfortunately this is not!
At check-in I received one of the city maps with ad`s around the edge. one of them was the caffe gammel torv, the local kitchen advertised. as we were late afternoon, we decided to try. the caffe. has place for people, with one of the tables reserved when we arrived. both have opted for the open sandwich plate. this begins with three fish versions, which is brot at the side. the main is two meat options before a final dessert of cheese and homemade crackers. the food was very full and each cure was explained expertly, the final cost including drinks was Danish crowner. the notification is paid via an ad.
We were recommended to eat a dinner of smorrebrod at the Cafe Gammeltorv since many restaurants serving Danish smorrebrod seem to close in the late afternoon. But this restaurant was open and we both had excellent smorrebrod. It consisted of two platters, the first having...three fish dishes on it. The dishes were fried plaice with mayonnaise hand peeled shrimp, orange marinated herring and rolled smoked salmon around a core of salmon mousse and roe. The meat platter consisted of beef tartare, pickled veg and egg yolk which you mash up, and chicken salad with bacon bits. The waiter was quite prepared to cook the beef as an alternative to serving it tartare. This was accompanied by half a bottle of wine and good coffee. The quality of the food was excellent but we considered the price to be higher than we would have expected. But having said that it was an excellent place to enjoy real Danish food in a place having great atmosphere on our last night of a first time visit to Copenhagen.
