I love this restaurant. It's some of the freshest and tastiest sushi in the region and her rolls are so creative. I love the various sauces for the rolls. The owners are very friendly. Great addition to the neighbourhood and worth the drive! View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Linhai sushi:
We ordered delivery and were charged $8 additional to the initial cost. If that wasnt enough all the rolls were tiny and in no way delicious as I would expect for $62. Anywhere in this town gives you 6 or 8 pc size rolls where this place gave us 5 of the thinnist rolls Ive every seen. Will never return or suggest it to anyone. View all feedback.
I have never had sushi with so little rice anywhere else. The black sesame seeds were a nice touch though.
Went for lunch and the place was empty. Had a few rolls. They were pretty hollow and tasteless. If it wasn't for the soya sauce it would have been terrible. $20 for hollow rolls for lunch. Pretty disappointed.
We were passing Kitchener on our way to London, when hunger pangs struck. After researching a few sushi places, we chose Linhai Sushi. Best decision ever. Food was super fresh, fish was not smelly or cold and tasted as if it had just been caught, rice was warm, freshly made, ice cold beer, superb service, what more could you ask for. Please note this is NOT a ACYE, it is a la carte, but well worth the splurge. When you have the urge to eat sushi, make your way to Linhai. You wont be disappointed.
We decided to give this sushi restaurant another try after a relatively disappointing experience about a year ago - the online the ratings were 4/5, and our favourite is sushi restaurant had aleardy closed (Nagano in Cambridge). We ordered take out and were so underwhelmed. We had tempura shrimp and veggies to start out expecting a light fluffy batter and received a heavily battered (tasted breaded) tempura cooked in old oil. Then we had a dragon roll and spicy salmon roll, both were tasty - despite the heavily battered shrimp in the dragon roll - but super small rolls! We had the volcano roll which is a house speciality but tasted awful, spoiled by the heavy deep fried 'tempura' batter. Everything was smaller than the average sized roll and definitely overpriced for what we received! To add insult to injury, we didn't even get complimentary miso soup, which EVERY sushi restaurant gives on take out orders!
Fantastic Sushi! Family owned and operated. Great atmosphere. Nice for dinner in or take out. Had several Times. Never disappoints!
