Every year during our summer visit to see the Kincardine Scottish Pipe band parade we stop off at Gilley's for supper before the parade.Gilley's food is very consistent in quality and quantity. Both are very good. As I have reviewed previously, the Saturday night Prime Rib special is very good. What User dislikes about Gilley's Feedlot:
Had a bit of difficulty getting tables because there's a weird sign at the door about getting the hostess to get seated. But where is the hostess? Upstairs, downstairs, on the patio? Then when a waitress attempted to help, she told us there'd be a 30-minute wait even though there were plenty of tables available. Really??? So we ended up pulling two tables together to seat 10 people. Young waitress was quite good but... View all feedback.

Reservations for dining inside are recommended. The only negative I would share is that the wait staff were a little slow. They appeared to be swamped.
Good little place on the main street with a very nice little patio out the side. Went for wing night. Wings were .69 each on Tuesdays. Only catch is you can only get 10 per beverage purchase so if you want more than 10 you should plan on drinking...Wings were average size and very good. Onion rings were also great. Service was average but place was fairly full. Will come here again
Un has time we found ourselves at Gilley's. The patio is great sheltered under a huge shady tree, and bright ow umbrellas. Our waiter, Benjamin, was simply amazing, very personable and efficient. The food was great, very simple and basic, but great flavours!
A small group of us went here after a few of the members of our party were raving about the place. It was a busy night for the restaurant and it took a few minutes to get a table. The waitress serving us was either new or she too, was having a bad day! The drink order was taken quickly but it did take a while to get them, ok they are busy. Again took a while for the food order to be taken, but ok they are busy. I had ordered the breaded shrimp, on the daily special, and a slow roasted turkey dinner. I will preface this by saying I did not specify that I wanted the shrimp first, although one would think it was an appy, but I did get them all together. The arrival of the food also took some time, but ok they were busy. The shrimp tasted very good, the turkey was good. The "stuffing" was more like pieces of bread with gravy on them and the side of vegetables were cold. The veggies were the type of food that was prepared hours ago and have been sitting in a tray. Definitely not fresh prepared veggies. I will say the waitress was trying but just not getting it, the food was ok, mediocre at best. As I said before, the place was busy so maybe that explains things, but the best restaurant are good when busy or not! My dinner mates even commented about how it was not the same. Take this for what it is, just one persons experience and maybe see for yourself. I don't think I will be back.
We went for lunch at Gilley's Feedlot and they have a good $6 lunch deal, where you get a sandwich and soup or salad for $6. There is a catch though. You need to order a beverage as part of the meal, so the $6 lunch is more like $8+ when you include a drink. There is lots of seating space including a large bar area downstairs.
