Eating a late lunch in Germany. Finding this location worked perfectly. Just a short drive off the highway and tucked away in a small quaint village-...

"Monchengladbach Museum Abteiberg. Of course, I knew we would starve after that, so I had a table for 3 people in the Vayra reservation one day before. 6:00 p.m., over 3 steps we go to the restaurant, we are kindly greeted by a young Indian, traditionally dressed in a very elaborately worked Sari, and we are assigned a table in the front guest room in the immediate vicinity of a 6-member company. Our desire to go to the back of the restaurant is not a problem. The two small windows donate only little light here and it is relatively dark at our place. Another young waitress, also in the Sari, appears with three menus, ignites the candle in the brass stand and asks if we want to eat à la carte or buffet. My two companions choose the buffet (14,50 €), the price for children up to and including 11 J. is 7, € . I am not a big fan of this self-service, but I would like to join today, so I have the opportunity to taste some of the Indian dishes that were not yet known to me. Our drinks are asked, I would like to know in advance whether the Indian rose is dry, with this term the young lady cannot start, so I ask a little more. No, the wine is not sweet. Beverages are fast and perfectly tempered, Mango Lassi 0.3 l to 2,10 €, a Pils hate killer 0.3 l to 2, € and a rose 0.2 l to 3,60 €, unfortunately no Indian wine, but that was obviously a misunderstanding. There's plenty of food available, I tried with my companions too. Pork, pigs, pigs, pussies, pussies fish saag: this dish I did not know yet and I am very positively surprised, well hot, the salmon fillet juicy, the spinach not boiled, in a well seasoned saffron sauce Chicken Vidaloo: chicken breast fillet with potatoes in a south Indian Vidaloosauce, hot, very sharp and very harmoniously seasoned all in all. The service staff is friendly and very friendly here, the restaurant is very well visited on Saturday night, used plates are cleaned immediately, we are asked to our satisfaction and other beverage requests, 0.3 l of coke at 2, €, a soft velvet (not recommended since you better drink water 0.33 l to 2.20 € and this time Indian Rose Sula 0.2 l to 4.20 € are brought again very quickly. The wine is not, as expected, dry but semi-dry too sweet and very fruity, initially disappointing, it later fits quite well with the very sharp Chicken Vidaloo. Ambience: The furniture is very simple but not really beautiful, dark brown plastic chairs, wood decoration, narrow orange table runners, folded paper napkins, a white ceramic vase with rose, besides the buffet a huge wooden elephant, on the walls orange-colored slumpflaster, a large painted Taj Mahal, the two wall lights between look very unhappy, beautiful living. The heavily refurbished toilets are located in the basement, here the plaster crumbles from the walls, the door frames are completely damaged and in the corners the dirt collects. The dining room included buffet was clean. I can recommend food to any buffet fan. Food 4* Service 4* Ambience 2* Cleanliness 2* PLV 4*"
