So far, the average rating is just 2.3, so one has to assume that the Gates & Son's Bar-B-Q is not among the best rated restaurants of its current guests.

This is the first time in a long time that I have been to Gate's and the food and hometown service is still the same.
I've been to many of the BBQ joints around Kansas City but I had never been to Gates.
