Was christinaE at Brasserie Bar & Cafe a mag?
I had 3 business meal meetings here this past week and the service was excellent. The waiter was attentive to our needs without interrupting or going overboard. Food was surprisingly good for a hotel lobby restaurant. Would definitely recommend again. The only drawback is the seating area is a little small leaving a little more hustle and bustle when the hotel lobby is very active in the morning. View all feedback.

What donnah dislikes about Brasserie Bar & Cafe:
After a long active day I was hoping for a more upscale relaxing dinner. This is not what you get. It's a noisy bar with a limited menu. I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato bisque and the soup was not hot and the cheese on the sandwich was not melted. It's as if the chef barely took the time to cook it correctly. Not sure why it is still possible to make reservations here. This was simply the bar at the Westin hotel.

No restaurant seating, just the lobby bar area. Food isn't that good and definitely not worth the price charged. Our server was nice but the food...horrible.

The food was very good. The service was slow, but that was acceptable because it was Valentine's Day. The problem came when our server brought the bill. It was not itemized and it was more than I expected. I asked the server for the itemized bill and suddenly the bill had been reduced by $41.00. It appeared that she thought to just to include her tip without our knowing. She came back apologizing saying that we could pay the lower bill. The thing is, I would have tipped her more if she had just given the original bill. She cheated herself out of an additional 5%. I understand that holidays are busy and demanding for wait staff, trying to ensure your tip without that being stated upfront, in particular for a table of four, is theft.
