Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. Some had issues with the food quality and service, citing "fishy" tasting yellowtail and greasy pastrami shortribs, as well as flat pop and unappetizing water. Some diners also faced delays and mix-ups with their orders, while others found the kids menu and overall atmosphere to be pleasant. On the other hand, other customers enjoyed the cozy ambiance, well-crafted beer selection, and delicious food, such as shrimp tacos and Michigan beans. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer a variety of experiences, ranging from disappointing to satisfying, depending on personal preferences and individual encounters with the staff.
Went here for lunch with my best friendWell let's just say I've had better.
My bff and I decided to give Burdicks a try for lunch one day last week.
I've never had a bad meal here (and I've had some extremely memorable ones as well, particularly in conjunction with Kalamazoo Beer Week and Kalamazoo
Excellent selection of beers, reliably delicious food and great service. If you don't have a reservation, it's usually easy to secure a spot at the bar for a full dining service. A neighborhood favorite.
Whoa. Yellowtail tasted way too "fishy" and the so-called pastrami shortribs were greasy pastrami. Both were $ 30. Robbery. We gave our feedback to the bartender (we were sitting at the bar) and he made no effort to "get it right". I will not be back. The dining room was nice ... parking was awful in the neighborhood.
