Another guest found the coffee and pastries subpar and not fresh. On a positive note, a gourmet dining experience at a luxury hotel in Jasper Park Lodge was commended for excellent service and tasty food, despite the high prices. Additionally, Moose's Nook Chophouse at Fairmont Jasper National Park Hotel received high praise for exceptional service and delicious dishes. Different options were suggested for breakfast and quick bites while enjoying the scenic surroundings of the area.
We stayed in a "Junior Suite Lakeview" It was very niceNot the lap of luxury, but well kept up with a comfortable bed and nice bathrooms.
What an incredible time we had this week at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.
Not worth the exorbitant cost We arrived here expecting much more for how much we paid than we got First of all, the rooms are extremely small.
We just got engaged on the premises and love the views and service, it's a must to visit here even if only for a cocktail or a lunch or even just a walk along the lake front, they brought us a complimentary plate of chocolate strawberries for the occasion.
This place is very overrated, it benefits from its history and location. The good and unpretentious thing is the view, surrounding nature and lake and maybe the atmosphere inside, trying to be a mountain lodge from the 60's. When you get there and see the prices (of everything, from hot chocolate, main course, the rooms to the spa..), you would expect certain quality. However, that is lacking. We came for a family dinner - medium-rare steak was well done, waiter hardly understood English, meals came all the different times, probably whenever kitchen had it ready; salmon was good; burger tasted worse than in a small town pub. Won't be back. Definitely not for the food.
