Did the George Bass Coastal Walk from Punchbowl Road to Kilcunda, and this is the only cafe in the entire town.
Dropped in here on a sunny Saturday afternoon on our way to InverlochIt was lunchtime and crowdedObviously a good sign.

"I regret this incident happened but it needs posting and sharing I concur with those who have shared that the food is usually hot and delicious, the servers are friendly and helpful, but this time I had a problem while picking up a to-go order. I had picked up the same to-go order several times before but this time when I got home my wife stated that her steak was not good. It tasted wrong (funny). I took the plate back to the restaurant to request a remake. The cashier got the manager/owner. He asked what was wrong. When I told him that my wife said the steak tasted bad, he did not smell the steak or anything that I expected him to do. He simply told the cashier to refund the cost of the steak and strongly told me to tell my wife never to order another steak from him ever again. I then told him I was sorry that he was having a bad day and was going to say we normally love the place. He cut me off and said that he had just received that meat that day and had marinated it himself and—loudly—that there was nothing wrong with it. Then he walked away. This is not customer service or a customer-first mentality. I hope the dine-in customers who overheard the conversation took note of the situation."

"Had a 12:30 reservation. Arrived and checked in at 12:15. Waited in bar as instructed. Kept checking back in to see about table. They were seating walk ins and not us. Finally got table at 12:55 after standing at the hostess desk and asking over and over for a table. Server brought drinks quickly and took our order 4 salads. Food arrived 35 minutes later. Was my cousin’s b’day so not such a good experience. Drove 2 hrs to meet up at the Blacksmith. Will pick another Jackson restaurant next time."
