"I took my partner here for her birthday, it was a Wednesday lunchtime. It had just opened and we were one of the first in. We was greeted by a lovely gentleman and taken to our table, it soon got busy but that didn’t stop the waiter (who I believe to be the owner) remembering who was in order. The food came out in great time, the service came with a smile and good conversation. Everything we needed was catered for. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every moment. I would definitely recommend this place looking for authentic Italian at a great price. Thank you Billy! "Wish we 'd got to sample these highly rated Amazing Roasts!!! My partner called to check availability for lunch and was told yes come on down. We were not even 10 minutes away. By the time we entered the bar and had spoken with the bar staff members no one had a recollection of the phone call booking at all, actually confusing us with another booking for a couple with two children? So off she went to check with her Manager. Yes you 're table will be ready it 's just being Wiped Down have a drink whilst you 're waiting. We waited 10 15 minutes in the bar waiting for the table wipe down. I returned to the bar to politely enquire on how things were progressing, the two bar staff I spoke didn 't have a clue I was waiting and again went to speak to the Manager whilst we sat back down to finish our drinks. After no member of staff returned we gave up waiting and walked out. Friendly but really poor customer service. Really poor!! Oh and the couple with the two kids arrived after us and were seated straight away!! :"

"So glad we found this shop as the food was amazing and the choice for vegetarians was brilliant. We were the last customers (tip don’t turn up just before closing time as they stop serving maybe 20 25 mins before to give them time to get existing orders out) and I’m so glad we just got there in time. Massive portions, crispy batter, freshly cooked food with a fun (slightly zany) atmosphere. Haddock, goujons, calamari , halloumi and onion rings were fabulous eaten on the beach just a 5 min walk away."
