This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. In Fort Lauderdale for business and picked AE because of its interesting menu. Unfortunately although everyone was very friendly they seemed to be understaffed we meant longer than expected waits for some things. Will give it a second try when i return to FL in June . This was one of the best restaurants in Southeast Florida. We always loved eating there and planning to go back in August when we came from the Gulf side. Staff...

"I was kindly greeted by one of the owners and she shared her story with me. I am for small businesses and this is a family business was a plus! We tried the pizza for the first time and enjoyed it! The cheese pizza was delicious, gooey and satisfied every pizza desire! We also tried an 8 Ruck pizza and it was interesting. Kinda tasted more like a jerk chicken sandwich than a pizza, but still enjoyable. The brownie was brilliant and the garlic bread was fluffy. We will definitely try again for more and other special pizzas!"

"If you love real Italian cooking, La Dolce Vita is a must! We were welcomed with a warm greeting and had excellent service. Thank you Christian! The dinner menu had plenty of choices and they also had some specials of the day. We enjoyed the burrata and prosciutto salad, mushroom risotto, grilled branzino, and veal chop in truffle sauce. Every portion was more than generous, so we shared the salad and risotto. The burrata was the best we?ve had. The branzino was cooked to perfection, tender, flaky with the skin grilled so crispy that you want to eat it all. It was covered with thinly sliced zucchini that not only kept it moist during cooking but made for a beautiful presentation. And the veal chop!!!...oh my! Cooked perfectly, surrounded with a wild mushroom black truffle sauce and roasted potatoes that were creamy and crispy on the outside. They have a well priced wine list with a nice variety of Italian wines. We like full bodied wines, so we enjoyed a Barolo. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal there. Don?t forget to save a little room for dessert...homemade tiramisu. You will not regret it!"
