I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this cozy dive bar. The location was perfect, the staff and clientele were legendary, and the drinks, especially the Jager, were top-notch. I will definitely be returning to Jimmy's for more. View all feedback.
I used to frequent the Twisted Lime before I started working full time, and it used to be a great atmosphere, every body knew every one and if you didn't, it didn't matter. How ever I avoid The Twisted Lime now, as the last few times I have been there I have felt unwelcome. The staff seem to have a 'clique' of patrons that are regulars but generally neglect the rest of their customers, as well as the 'clique' of regulars make you feel unwelcome, with cold body language and staring daggers. I have seen free drinks given in abundance but of course only to those regulars. I have seen people wandering in and out of the bar at leisure, and it is very hard to tell who works there, who owns it, or who is a customer. I have witnessed many of the staff drinking during work hours, which is not only a safety hazard but very unprofessional. Last but most definitely not least, The Twisted Lime boasts and N64 available for customers to play, how ever I have only seen it in operation once or twice since the bars opening, whats the point in offering a service that is not readily available? It's a shame to see that a cheap, fun local with so much potential has fallen so far.
This is my spot! A friend and I had just started our year of traveling through Australia, and chose Tassie as our first destination.

This hidden bar in Salamanca offers affordable drinks and a lively atmosphere that appeals to a younger, alternative crowd. It's definitely not a place to bring the family (unless your aunt and uncle are as cool as mine).
I used to frequent The Twisted Lime regularly before, and it had a great atmosphere where everyone knew each other. However, I now avoid The Twisted Lime as the last few times I went, I felt unwelcome. The staff seems to favor the regular male customers, neglecting others, and the atmosphere created by these regulars can be off-putting with their cold demeanor. I have noticed that free drinks are often given to these regulars only. The bar lacks clear distinctions between employees, owners, and customers, making it difficult to determine who is who. I have also observed employees drinking on the job, which is not only unprofessional but also a safety risk. Finally, The Twisted Lime advertises an N64 for customers to play, but it is rarely available for use. It is disappointing to see a once promising and fun spot with so much potential fall so far.
