The Duke - Hobart

The friendly customer service in this tavern like restaurant was very welcoming. The music was a little loud for dining. The meal was wonderful. The waitstaff was very informative and helpful. The beetroot dip was fantastic a little more bread crust would have been good; with setup of plate and knife earlier. As travelers with little knowledge of the area, we used close dining options as referenced on the phone and The Duke came up. Deb

I recently visited The Duke in Hobart while in town from Perth and had a great experience. The pub is beautiful and I attended two Blues Club nights which were fantastic. The food was delicious with generous portions at a reasonable price. The service was fast, friendly, and personalized. The blues music was top-notch every time. I would highly recommend stopping by The Duke for a fun night out!

I absolutely adore this restaurant. Doug and Kartika are fantastic hosts, with plenty of live music events happening throughout the week. They offer a diverse selection of drinks at reasonable prices, and the food is excellent - especially the wood-fired pizzas. Keep an eye out, as special surprises may happen if you're lucky!

Picked this place out for lunch as we wandered past. Reviews we'd read previously were good. Really friendly staff on entrance. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Clean dining and bar areas. Huge serves for the price $12 $18 respectively). The Duke Club sandwich was fantastic; whatever they put on...

My group of four went for lunch and had amazing food and great beer. I have nothing negative to say about our experience.
