"Oh my heavens! We went here for a birthday dinner and I was so impressed by the food, the ambiance, and the service. Everything was divine. The setting is really lovely an old dining room that is decorated just perfectly. It's a gorgeous setting at...night and very romantic. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything. The service was very good, they did not hover but were always there to help or bring something. All courses were timed perfectly. No rushing, not too much time between courses. Honestly, I don't believe you can go wrong with this menu as everything was so good. It really changed my (shallow preconceptions about German cuisine. The restaurant is expensive, but worth it for a splurge. I think dinner for 4 was about $500 USD...or 500 euro. I can't remember. It was expensive though. ;"

"We stayed today for Christmas brunch in Lausbub, we are happy here and appreciate the good food, but we did not find the buffet version suitable, the quality of the food has not fulfilled our expectation, unfortunately! The appetizer Lausbub-Brett was too big, it really hurts us if the kitchen has to dispose of food. Dessert was our highlight, mega tasty! We like to come back when we can order a la carte, because then there is nothing to put out here! Staff very friendly!"
