Contribute Feedback Was Richard S at Yu Xiang Hot Pot a mag?
After a lockdown of almost 3 months due to COVID-19 I was worried some of my favourite eateries would not survive financially. It was wonderful to see this hot pot restaurant had made it. Wonderful place to eat and great value for money! View all feedback.
What Bindu Karki dislikes about Yu Xiang Hot Pot:
Foods are fresh. Various help yourself dipping sauce to choose from. Well prepared pot, nice environment, tasty sides. Although a bit more expensive than I expected, still a good place for hot pot. View all feedback.
We enjoyed our meal here. It reminded me of the best hot pots I have had in China. Each person has a separate hot pot which is good if one prefers spicy.

I love hot pots, especially during the cold winter nights. It’s a perfect sit down, comfortable and chillax meal you can ever imagine!. I honestly prefer hot pots at home, but I got to say that YX does them well! I actually haven’t been to any other hotpot places in Sydney so I can’t really say for other places. My first experience with this one was in Eastwood and so, this is my second. I prefer the atmosphere in Eastwood because it takes its oriental aura next level!
Best Hotpot Platz in Sydney. Very authentic! Large selection of dishes, diving sauce and broth. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has private dining areas. This place is expensive. Normally 120-150 $ for two. If you go during peak times, it can easily wait for more than 1 hour. Recommend, if you are ready to pay and wait.
I was at different hot pot places, and this is the worst place I have ever paid a visit. The wait was insanely long, so I thought it must be nice, but everything came to raw - no spices - and tasted extremely mixed. The menu was unfairly reasonably priced, considering what they serve. It cooped $ 91 for two, which have selected 5 articles for the share including the pot and sauce. (Yes, they also calculate for their sauces!) I write here rarely reviews, but if I write, I hope that there will be no other victims like me.
