"We had the opportunity to enjoy a family dinner at VLET and the food, in particular, left a good impression. For a table of six, the service was good with the waiter very knowledgeable about the menu. I liked the way that the menu could be adjusted to cater for vegetarian and vegan preferences with relative ease and even indicated on the menu. The beef tartare as a starter was excellent and, as it is Hamburg after all, the pan-fried fish of the day was just gorgeous. As per normal, we did not attempt any desserts. The decor innovations in Speicherstadt is a style that appeals and VLET also did this very well, moving from the industrial to the contemporary in a nice way. Certainly a do again when back in Hamburg."
