I usually look for good quality and a variety of foods, and I was... read more My visit to this restaurant on a Wednesday in August was to try out the 'trust the chef menu'. I usually look for good quality and a variety of foods, and I was not disappointed. Every dish was excellent, especially those I don't typically order. We started with a beet and apple salad, followed by potato latke with salmon mousse, scallops with corn puree (which was seriously the best - even for someone who isn't a fan of scallops), carne asada tacos, and grilled peaches for dessert. We were informed that the 'trust the chef' menu will only be available once a month, and we hope it doesn't disappear because it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant was not too busy, allowing us to enjoy an intimate and gastronomic feast. This experience was a perfect 5 out of 5, and we definitely plan to come back.

It 's a five course sampler that really highlights the best of what the chef offers. The food was cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. The price was a bit high, however, the quality and variety outweighed the cost. The staff was friendly and timed the courses very well. The atmosphere was relaxing and elegant. We both highly recommend Latitude for those looking for beautiful and comfortable night out.

We first came in for dessert and drinks, and that's when we learned that Wednesday nights feature a Trust the Chef special. You pay a fixed price and the chef chooses 5 courses for you. It was a delightful and enjoyable experience.

A Friday early evening date, we both enjoyed the cheese platter to start. It was recommended by our server and had a great selection/options based on our taste for cheese. The currie chicken was excellent with the right level of spice and presented nicely. Service by everyone was excellent being attentive but not intrusive. Well Done!
