"Again a recommendation so we popped into Felin Fwyd for a freshly made deli sandwich, which ended up being a baguette filled to the brim with whatever we wanted. What a charming and delightful café, the delights were made in front of you and the...baguette well filled and thoroughly delicious ingredients. The staff were friendly and attentive. "Been here lots of times in the past while out walking. Different owners and different standard of care. We called in today after a long walk and looking forward to our usual coffee. Although still serving people food at their tables, when I asked if we could just have 2 coffees the answer was a resounding NO we are closed. It was 3.50pm. We would have been happy with a take out coffee but again the answer was no. Obviously the people who were still eating would have been there longer than 10 minutes and I understand they didn't want to take food orders but would it really have been that much trouble to make 2 coffees. In g Future we will give our custom to the Prince Llewellyn in Beddgellert who even when really busy greet their customers with a warm welcome and great service. Caffi Gwynant only opens 4 days a week and you would think they would be glad of the custom. Obviously not!"
